Yes yes, my last post was about designer kids’ wear and now I’m blogging about Primark. What can I say? I’m an enigma.
Seriously though, today I discovered the prettiest Primark girls’ dress I’ve ever seen. It has boats on it, and beach balls, and flowers. It wouldn’t look out of place on the vintage-chic shelves of Cath Kidston. But it was £6. (OK, so it needs a good ironing – Primark’s product presentation does leave a lot to be desired.)
When my toddler wears it, an older girl will no doubt stride up to her and ask, ‘Where is that dress from?’ and if she could talk, my girl would look a bit smug and say, ‘This? Oh, Mummy bought it from Primark…’ (pause) ‘…£6.’
But since she can’t talk yet, I’ll have to just tell all the other mums instead.
Ahhh that is gorgeous!! Can i ask what age section it was in?, might have to get one for my niece xxx
