Boden, Hei Moose, Zara And More: Fab Kids’ Spring 2013 Clothing

That glint of sunshine that we see peeking through the clouds has got me thinking about spring clothes. My tot has been wearing jumpers and cardigans, tights and jeans for too long – bring on the dresses, shorts and tees! Here’s my pick of summer 2013 clothes for boys and girls…

First up, the basics. For a classic tee, it’s all about Mini Boden. A fairly recent Boden convert, I’ve started getting a bit excited when the catalogue drops through my door (for those few minutes, I even forgive Bounty for using shameless tactics to make money selling on my details to Boden). Mini Boden, as usual, have a brilliant array of basic tees with bold prints and bright colours – and there’s currently 15% off with free delivery and returns if you’re fast…

When it comes to girls’ clothing, I love an unusual print. Hei Moose have just had their big Spring delivery, and I’m in love with a Maxomarra dress. I’d sling this Zara waistcoat over the top and for extra comfort when running around a park at top speed, these H&M hi-tops are a bargain at £5.99.

Who says buying clothes for boys is tricky? Not me. For boys’ clothing, H&M and Zara are a good place to start – their utility style pieces are functional as well as looking great. This grey flamingo Mini Rodini print tee is pricey but amazing and who would’ve thought these leather sandals are M&S?

Where do you like to shop for your kids’ clothing? Do you stick to a few failsafe places or impulse buy as and when you see things you like?

I feel exactly the same about Mini Boden! When we were first sent the catalogue, I shook my fist at Bounty and was going to put it straight in the bin. But then I caught a glimpse of the colours and patterns and Saltwater-a-like sandals…I’ve not yet bought anything but it’s only a matter of time. Especially having seen these t-shirts. Love the GIF.
