WIN! A pair of The Bright Company Polka Moon Slack Jyms

win-the-bright-company-pyjamas

Buying pyjamas for myself is one of my favourite pastimes – you can never have too many pairs. And I have a terrible habit of hanging onto them too long too – just ask the pair of Bridget Jones style penguin PJ bottoms I bought in Gap back in 1998 which are still in my drawer.

But I also love love love buying pyjamas for the five-year-old too. She has a mix of character-covered PJs, and cool ones from independent brands and has a current obsession with always wearing the same as me, every night. “What are you wearing to bed?” she’ll ask while I’m getting her dried off from the bath. “Vest and pyjama bottoms,” I’ll reply. “That’s what I want to wear,” she’ll say. It’s cute and I’m entirely aware the desire to match me will wear off soon!

Luckily, parent and child night time twinning is easy thanks to The Bright Company. I’ve spoken about them a few times before on the blog, and have bought a few pairs of their PJs. There’s something so brilliant about their quirky designs and the kids’ PJs are all gender-neutral which gets a massive thumbs up from me. I’ve got a pair of Mama Jyms and the five-year-old has some Slim Jyms, and nothing makes her happier than us both wearing them at the same time.

Since there is a full moon tonight (and a Super harvest blood moon lunar eclipse, no less!) I’m giving away a pair of The Bright Company’s Slack Jyms in the ‘Polka Moons’ print which has been designed with exclusive illustrations from the children’s book illustrator Sarah Dyer. The Slack Jyms have cool and comfy harem-style bottoms and the top has a dipped back with 3/4 length sleeves and they are worth £35.

That’s a hilarious competition entry question. I wasn’t expecting that. My favourite type of cheese is mozzarella, which is totally dull but there’s nothing nicer than a really GOOD piece of mozzarella. Ooh, or halloumi. Or the cheese that comes from my Greek family’s sheep…

Bright Company are adorable. I love their little-person clothes.

This has made me really hungry! Halloumi is the king of cheeses in my opinion and one of the only cheeses my husband would eat in place of meat. Love a cheeseboard and red wine as well though. And Brie on French bread. And Baked Camembert in a box with cranberry. And mozzarella. And basically all cheese. End of. Fyi I just read that locanda locatelli flies someone to Italy every day at 4am to buy Burrata and bring it back to his london restaurant!

That really is an impossible question:
Stilton for cheese, feta for salad, halloumi for wraps, Gouda for sandwiches, manchego for grating over eggs, Parmesan for pasta, ricotta for sweet endings, Gorgonzola for stuffing my face in.

Like a mumma with her babas, there can be no favourites. Only the right occasion.
