Which Beauty Pie Products Are Best? Here Are My Favourites…

[AD – THIS BLOG POST CONTAINS AFFILIATE LINKS]

I’ll admit it – since joining Beauty Pie a year ago, I’ve gone from being Beauty Pie curious to being a fully fledged Beauty Pie obsessive. My skincare regime has gone from non-existent (let’s just say face wipes were the beginning, middle and end of it) to having multiple steps. And it’s in part down to Beauty Pie, and in part down to the brilliant book Skincare by Caroline Hirons.

There’s such a strong link, for me, between looking after my skin and my mental wellbeing. Knowing I’m looking after myself in a small way really boosts my mood and in turn, it’s often a sign that I’m not in a great place mentally, when I realise I’ve let my skincare regime to slip.

Once you get your head around how Beauty Pie works, the joy comes from picking which products to order and then seeing them arrive in a beautifully packaged pink box! I get such a kick out of saving so much money compared to what I’d spend if I was buying these types of products from other premium brands.

Which Beauty Pie products are best?

Which Beauty Pie products are best is – of course – a matter of opinion, but in case it helps you choose what to order, here are my favourites so far…

FRUITIZYME™ FIVE MINUTE FACIAL

The Fruitizyme Five Minute Facial is fab – part scrub, part mask, I apply it to clean skin and leave it for ten minutes (I read a book and set a timer to remind me!) before rinsing it off. It’s got pomegranate enzymes and salicylic acid in it, and it’s great for clogged pores or congested skin.

Beauty Pie Japanfusion cleanser

JAPANFUSION™ PURE TRANSFORMING CLEANSER

The Japanfusion Pure Transforming Cleanser has become my new daily cleanser – I think I’m on my third or fourth tube of it. It’s light to apply, easy to take off with a muslin cloth and leaves my skin feeling super clean and smooth.

SUPER HEALTHY SKIN™ DEEP PURIFYING CLEANSER

This cleanser is the bee’s knees. It’s got a thick clay mask-like consistency which then foams up and it’s great for oily, congested, acne-prone, and combination skin types. I use it every 2-3 days but I’ve heard others say once a week is enough for them. It gives you a really deep cleanse and I always follow it up with…

Beauty Pie Triple Hyaluronic Acid

TRIPLE HYALURONIC ACID & LIPOPEPTIDE SERUM

The Triple Hyaluronic Acid & Lipopeptide Serum is another daily one for me. I smooth it on after cleansing my skin, and before moisturising. It gives me a hit of intensive hydration and healthy glowing skin.

Beauty Pie Plantastic Micropeeling Super Drops

PLANTASTIC™ MICROPEELING SUPER DROPS

I love Plantastic Micropeeling Super Drops! I use this 2-3 times a week, smoothes over cleansed skin, or if I have a spot, I’ll pop some on it overnight. It has pore-refining fruit smoothers and the salicylic acid is brilliant at dissolving the top layer of skin, exfoliating, removing impurities and generally making my skin brighter.

SUPER HEALTHY SKIN™ DAILY MOISTURE LOTION

This is my new go-to daily moisturiser. I often use the Japanfusion Power Elixir Moisturiser at night, but this is my morning moisturiser of choice. It’s so light to apply and sinks in almost immediately. It’s not too rich, but adequately moisturises my combination skin. Love it!

Beauty Pie Super Retinol

SUPER RETINOL CERAMIDE-BOOST ANTI-AGING FACE SERUM and SUPER RETINOL ANTI-WRINKLE EYE CREAM

I’m fairly new to the retinol game – I ordered these products three months ago and use them 2-3 times a week. Retinol fans, tell me, should I be using them more often? Regardless, I like them and will be repeating the order when I run out. The serum has a slow-releasing gentle encapsulated retinol complex and helps to even skin tone and visibly diminish fine lines and wrinkles. The anti-wrinkle eye cream has slow-release Retinol Microcapsules – to help reduce the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles, and to brighten and even the appearance of the skin. Beauty Pie Dr Glycolic Soft Feet Peel Socks

DR GLYCOLIC™ SOFT FEET 7-DAY PEEL SOCKS

These Dr Glycolic socks are – hands down – one of the best things I’ve ever bought and tried. Have you tried them? AMAZING. I’ll admit, I was suspicious. “So you put these socks on, leave them for 90 minutes, wash your feet, and then 3-7 days later, your skin will shed? Hmmm….” But it WORKED and it’s amazing. I’m about to order a few more to see me through the summer.

Beauty Pie Super Healthy Skin Scrub

SUPER HEALTHY SKIN™ NOURISHING BODY POLISH

I love a good body scrub – but so many I’ve tried have been too rough or too smooth. This has just the right texture, leaves your skin smooth and soft and the scent is divine! It smells like that old-school soapy scent that your granny’s soap bar had back in the 1980s.

Beauty Pie Detox Shampoo

SUPER HEALTHY HAIR™ DETOX WASH SHAMPOO

This Detox Shampoo is awesome. I use it once a week (on a Sunday, since you asked!) and I love that it has all the ingredients (charcoal, apple cider vinegar) that I remember teen magazines telling us we should use to really clean our hair. The scent of this black shampoo turns from ‘charcoal’ to a lovely shampooey scent as you lather.

So are there any Beauty Pie products I’m not keen on?

Yep – I’ve tried a few things that I wouldn’t order again. The regular shampoos don’t seem to really clean my oily, thick hair. The Plantastic Deep Nourishing Moisture Balm was too thick and luxurious for my skin (although I loved the apricot scent). The Superluminous Undereye Genius was too shimmery for my liking – I prefer a matte under eye brightener. But other than that, I’ve loved everything I’ve ordered!
