Podcast #11: The Step Up Club On Finding And Faking Confidence

Do you feel like a confident person? Even if your answer is yes, most of us have major wobbles from time to time (I know I do!) And as a mum, there are so many times when confidence is needed – those early newborn days where you’ve got all of this new stuff to get your head around, going to baby groups on your own, being a newbie at the school gate and going back to work after maternity leave all take confidence, and we don’t always have it.

My guests on this episode of Not Another Mummy Podcast – Phanella Mayall-Fine and Alice Olins – have some brilliant thoughts on the matter. Together they run Step Up Club, a great organisation that gives women career support and networking opportunities. Their book, Step Up, was published by Penguin in 2016 and they recently launched The Step Up School.

Love this episode – one of my key takeaways ‘Confidence is a State of Mind’ (and not a personality trait) xxx
