Every year, around this time, I make a Christmas list (it also doubles up as a birthday list, since my birthday falls on 25th December). My husband gets some ideas from it, and passes on some ideas to his parents and my parents. I wasn’t a fan of doing a list, at first – it felt a bit greedy and presumptuous – but my family do genuinely like to have one, and it saves any embarrassing “Ohhhh! These cerise diamante fluffy mules are delightful!” moments. It works well in reverse too – having a list from my family members means I can buy them something they genuinely want. That DVD storage system that my father in law would like? Already on order from Amazon.
This, however, is my fantasy Christmas list – those items I’d never dare ask for, but if we won the lottery, I’d be dropping some major hints for. That said, I’d also have to check my Swinton home and contents insurance policy was up to date – with gorgeous stuff like this around the house, the last thing you want is to be burgled or flooded.

Lush list-hope you get a few of these. Have you been a good girl this year?
