Podcast #06: Emma Conway On The Emotional Ups & Downs When Your Kids Start School

Emma Conway is one of my favourite people – she blogs at Brummy Mummy of 2, has a huge Facebook following (ummm but not as big as I thought, as you’ll hear…) and has got over 12,000 subscribers on YouTube. She talks about the realities of being a mum of two in Birmingham. She’s a normal lass (and there aren’t enough normal lasses around, right?)

Emma’s youngest child starts primary school soon so we chatted about how she’s coping (clue: not well) and we talk tips on getting through the first day and week of your kiddo starting school. It’s such an emotional time!

We drank rosé wine on a Thursday afternoon, recording this, while our children played upstairs – and it was a right laugh!

What a great podcast. My youngest just started and I think it’s way more emotional for us mums than it is for them. They seem to take it all in their stride xx
