I loved recording this episode of the podcast – my guest, Lisa Smosarski, is a mum of three and is the Editor of one of my favourite magazines, Stylist. Since the magazine has a strong feminist theme, I wanted to chat to Lisa about how women (and particularly mothers) are portrayed in the media. It was so interesting to hear her thoughts on the language that’s used when talking about women, the gradual shift for the better that she’s seen since launching Stylist and how far we still have to go, before we see true equality for women.
Lisa and I also chatted about how she manages the work/home life juggle – and yes she does admit that it’s HARD – and why we put so much pressure on ourselves as mums.
