I just can’t help it. I’m a bit obsessed with Harper Beckham. Just this week, I’ve cooed over the pics of her on the NYFW frow on daddy David Beckham’s lap, sat next to none other than US Vogue editor Anna Wintour. And now, these latest photos of Harper out with David on a playdate in New York had me shouting “Oh my God, could Harper get any cuter?” at my computer screen.
The thing is, I know how crazy it is to hold a toddler up as some kind of style icon – she’s TWO for crying out loud. Hardly hugely capable of making her own wardrobe choices (my daughter was nearly 3 before she started having strong opinions on what she wanted to wear) and she’s clearly still being dressed by her (super stylish) mum or dad. And what does it say about us as a society that we talk so much about this little girl’s appearance (way more than we ever talked about her older brothers’ outfits)?
But still, in her pink button-down dress, Doc Marten boots and cute top knot, today, Harper’s look rocked. I’m tempted to copy her look on my daughter. Is that a bit weird? Probably. But I’m heading to Matalan and the Dr Martens website anyway, to buy these…

Glad I’m not the only one!
There IS something strangely addictive about cute little Harper’s style. Nice to see that her mum has started to show a flicker of a smile in public too, I might add…

Hi Carol, I enjoy your comments on my posts, but adding a link to every comment isn’t very blog-friendly (and I have CommentLuv installed which will give you a post plug anyway)
🙂
Thanks for the feedback. I’ve tried usng CommentLuv but it doesn’t seem to work. I’ll give it another shot…
I was rocking that look 20 years ago!! I love the dress and docs look and might go back to it myself 😉
