Say hello to your new shopping obsession

I’m ready. Ready to admit to my new guilty pleasure. You might not thank me for sharing it, since it could lead to you developing an unhealthy obsession in the same way that I have. You see, my guilty pleasure is a brand new social game.

Wait. Before you close down your browser, shake your head and tut as you walk away to engage with real people in real life (so overrated in my opinion). This social game is different. It’s not like Farmville or Mafia Wars or all those other games that filled your Facebook news feed in 2007, when it seemed like everyone you knew suddenly had their brains taken over by an 8-year-old. Fantasy Shopper is about shopping and being stylish. And the best bit is: you get to ‘fantasy shop’ (using ‘fantasy money’) real items that are in real high street shops like Dorothy Perkins, French Connection and Reiss. Then you get to put outfits together using the items you have ‘fantasy bought’.Fantasy Shopper, Reiss, Mulberry, Dorothy Perkins, perfect office outfit

Sound silly? It’s not. It’s amazing and addictive and my new favourite thing. If I can’t afford a pair of Louboutins in real life, I certainly can in the Harrods section of Fantasy Shopper. But it’s also a bit dangerous. The Mulberry purse that I bought using fantasy money looks so amazing with all of the outfits I’ve created, I’m tempted to buy it in real life. And the game makes it so easy to do – just buy clicking ‘more info’ on the item, it clicks through to the real Harrods where you can buy it. Eek!

Fantasy Shopper, Mulberry purse, HarrodsSo there. You’re either going to love me or hate me for sharing my new guilty pleasure. Either way, get involved and make me an outfit!

Ooh sounds dangerous, but far too exciting not to try! Actually need the burnt orange blazer right now, which fantasy shop is that little beauty from?

Dotty P’s! I have it in apricot IRL and it’s fab over a vest and jeans to smarten up your look.

Ha! Maybe I should leave Fantasy Shopper outfits up on our laptop as hints for birthday presents!

This looks utterly dangerous. Especially as I have a Mulberry addiction in real life.
