Fancy helping others and getting a warm feeling inside this Christmas? Well, it’s really easy thanks to the One Worn Every Minute campaign. Clever ladies Kirsti Hadley and Emi Ozmen have organised a kids’ clothing auction over on Instagram, to raise money for Help Refugees.
The charity helps refugees landing in Europe – they’ve built shelters in Calais, provided warm sleeping bags, given out hot meals and provide truckloads of aid. They’re doing amazing work.
You can get involved with One Worn Every Minute in TWO SUPER EASY WAYS!
- Donate some kids’ clothing to be auctioned – simply post a photo of it on Instagram and tag @oneworneveryminute and #oneworneveryminute. Kirsti and Emi will do the rest.
- Bid for some of the donated clothing at One Worn Every Minute – the highest bidder will bag the item and will then be directed to the Just Giving page to pay.
I’ve donated a bunch of clothing, which you can bid for…
I recently spent the afternoon with Kirsti, Emi and brilliant photographer Philippa James, who are all donating their time for free to get people involved and photographing the donations. Oh and Philippa had this amazing ring light that Kirsti and I couldn’t resist taking some selfies next to….
Yeah, as you can see, I’m a natural in front of the camera – ha! But seriously, do donate and do bid – it’s such a worthwhile cause and it’s so easy to do your bit and help.
